Green Party Event

Our Greensboro Design Center participated in “The Green Party” held at Rigsbee Hall in downtown Durham, NC on Thursday, June 26th. The event was hosted by Alliance Architecture, whose vision was to showcase “green” products in a bazaar-like atmosphere in order to facilitate movement and discussion of the participants in a free-flowing, atmosphere. This plan proved to be a great success.

 

There were 25 vendors representing environmentally-friendly commercial products including wall coverings, office furniture, hard surface flooring, carpet and carpet tiles, countertops, lighting and even soy-based insulation and water recycling systems. Each vendor offered their version of “green” to the attendees which included 100+ Durham architects, designers, and commercial builders.

 

Mosaic Tile Company presented all of our Ecolabel products along with our recycled Vitrex Glass and Crossville’s domestically produced EcoCycle porcelain tile. TEC installation systems and our private label natural stone program were also featured.
